Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11)
At this Key Stage, open to children who reach 15 by September 1st, all students following the British National Curriculum which offers a full range of courses leading to International General Certificate of Education examinations (IGSCE) and the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). These courses provide a curriculum and method of assessment appropriate for a wide ability range. It is designed as a two-year programme leading to a certificate that is internationally recognized. Core subjects which must be studied at this stage are Mathematics, English and Science. Optional subjects include a modern language, drama, art, Business Studies, Information and Communication Technology, Physical Education, geography and History.

*Language- Students must choose a second language. It is expected 1st Language Arabic speakers will take Arabic.
As well as the above students will participate in PSHE and community projects throughout the school.
Fees
The external examination boards that conduct the I/GCSE examinations charge for this service. The school also charges an administration fee for courier costs, after-hours invigilation and other costs involved in administering the examinations.
Parents must cover the examination fees as an additional cost, separate from the DMBS school fees.
