SCHOOL COUNCIL RESPONSIBILITIES

• To hold meetings once every two weeks to discuss matters raised in connection to:
• Break-time activities including sports tournaments
• Fund Raising Events
• Inter class activities
• Peer relationships
• To talk to teachers about their ideas and look at ways of implementing those that are appropriate and educationally worthwhile.
• Be responsible for implementing and seeing through events organized.
• Represent the students and the school in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Listen to other students in their class and represent their ideas as well as give their own.

Students understand that teachers have the final say regarding any event or implantation of ideas.

The Key Stage 3 SRC is represented by two boys and two girls from each of the class in each year level. Representatives are chosen by students. The councils meet regularly and raise matters of concern with the Key Sage 3 Leader.
