Doha Montessori & British School, which opened in October 1997, currently has classes from Pre-School to Year 10. The Primary and Secondary classes follow a British style educational programme using the National Curriculum of England and Wales, whilst the Pre-School classes follow a modified Montessori syllabus for early years. The School is a multi-national educational institution catering for children from over 45 countries around the world. The language of instruction is English.

The Curriculum that the School uses is an enhanced British National Curriculum. This is recognized worldwide as a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum. All classes in Key Stage 1, 2& 3 are taken by teachers having British or equivalent teaching qualifications and are experienced in delivering the British National Curriculum in the UK or International Schools. Doha Montessori & British School aims for its
pupils to achieve their full potential in a happy, caring, and stimulating educational environment. Pupils are encouraged to be selfmotivated, well organized, responsible and considerate to others. During the school day, they work on a wide range of activities and in situations that develop their understanding of the world around them. The core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science are complimented by the foundation subjects, Geography, History, Art & Design,
French, DT, ICT, P.E. and Music. Arabic and Quranic studies are also available to native Arabic speakers.
